F V L play social rugby. Several of the fixtures we have are against other pub teams throughout Dorset and Somerset who enjoy a Sunday game and a few drinks afterwards, (although the game is always taken seriously).

The club has, since it started has become a feeder club to the established clubs in the area by introducing the game to novices who having grasped the basics move to the senior clubs (such as Dorchester) to further their training and experience, and hopefully become regular players.

Obviously a village cannot manage to field a side, which is why we ask players from the clubs around if they would like to join us for a run out and help the less experienced players to bring on their game.

We have at present six fixtures for the 2007-2008 season. Our home matches will be played at Dorchester RFC.
