It is with great sadness

It is with great sadness that we have to report the sudden passing of Pete Gerrard on 15th Feb 2017. Pete was a long standing part of Dorchester Rugby club having served for many years as resident physio and first aider to the club, from first team down to minis. In his capacity as a distinguished and long serving member of St John’s Ambulance, he also coordinated and further organised and supported the provision of first aid care at club events. He was an ever present at the club, for games big or small, and many players will have heard his heard his Dorset accent shouting encouragement’from the side of the pitch as they moved through the club from juniors through to the senior side.
We offer our heartfelt condolences, especially to his wife Juliet, and to all his family and friends at this sad time. He will be sorely missed. RIP Pete
